Last Updated: January 1, 2026

By booking, enrolling, or participating in any class, program, event, party, or service provided by The Explorers Club LLC, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. About Us

The Explorers Club LLC provides enrichment experiences for children and families, including but not limited to:

  • Baby and toddler classes
  • Preschool and elementary craft clubs
  • Afterschool programs
  • Camps, workshops, and seasonal sessions
  • Birthday parties and private events
  • Adult craft sessions

The Explorers Club LLC offers hands-on STEM and craft programs that blend creativity, exploration, and simple problem-solving through age-appropriate activities. Programs are designed to encourage curiosity, imaginative thinking, and confidence as children explore materials, tools, and ideas in a supportive group setting. Activities may include building, designing, experimenting, creating, and guided open-ended play, adapted to the developmental level of each age group.

All services are provided in person unless otherwise stated.

2. Eligibility, Readiness, and Behavior Expectations

Age requirements

  • Children must meet the stated age requirements for each program at the time of enrollment.
  • Age ranges are set based on developmental appropriateness, group dynamics, and safety considerations.
  • Exceptions are not guaranteed and may be declined at the discretion of The Explorers Club LLC.

Readiness to participate

  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is physically, emotionally, and developmentally able to participate in a group setting.
  • Programs may involve following basic instructions, participating in shared activities, remaining with the group, and using age-appropriate tools or materials.
  • The Explorers Club LLC does not provide one-to-one supervision or behavioral support unless explicitly stated.

Behavior and group safety

  • We aim to create a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.
  • Behavior that is unsafe, aggressive, disruptive, or repeatedly interferes with the experience of others may not be appropriate for group participation.
  • The Explorers Club LLC reserves the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue participation if a child's behavior presents a safety concern to themselves, other children, or staff.

Intervention and Removal

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to support children in adjusting to the group environment in a way that is appropriate to the program format.
  • In drop-off programs (such as craft clubs, afterschool programs, camps, and workshops), if a child's behavior continues to pose a safety risk or significantly disrupts the session, a parent or guardian may be contacted for early pickup.
  • In parent-and-child programs (such as Little Explorers), parents or guardians may be asked to actively support, redirect, or step out of the activity with their child if behavior is unsafe or disruptive.
  • If behavior cannot be safely managed within the group setting, The Explorers Club LLC reserves the right to discontinue participation in the session or program.
  • Repeated incidents may result in removal from a program without refund or credit, regardless of program format.

Communication and support

  • Parents may be contacted to discuss behavior concerns and determine whether accommodations or alternative programs may be more appropriate.
  • Decisions regarding participation are made with the well-being of the individual child and the group as a whole.

3. Bookings and Payments

Registration and booking methods

  • All bookings must be made through approved registration methods designated by The Explorers Club LLC, including our website, third-party registration platforms, or written registration forms.
  • Verbal reservations or informal agreements are not considered confirmed bookings.

Payment requirements

  • Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Payment plans, discounts, or alternative arrangements are valid only when confirmed in writing.
  • Failure to complete payment may result in the release of the reserved spot to another participant.

Program details and changes

  • Prices, schedules, instructors, locations, and program details are subject to change.
  • Reasonable efforts will be made to notify families of material changes in advance.
  • Changes do not entitle participants to refunds unless expressly stated.

Confirmation of enrollment

  • Registration is not complete and a participant's place is not secured until full payment has been received.
  • Enrollment is limited and based on availability. Programs may close once capacity is reached.

4. Cancellations, Missed Classes, and Refunds

General policy

  • All classes, sessions, programs, events, and workshops are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Enrollment reserves a place in a program and prevents that space from being offered to another participant.

Missed classes and absences

  • Missed classes due to illness, vacations, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances are not eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up sessions.
  • Make-up classes are not guaranteed and are offered only at the discretion of The Explorers Club LLC.

Cancellations by The Explorers Club LLC

  • If The Explorers Club LLC cancels a class, session, or event due to weather, low enrollment, venue issues, or operational reasons, a make-up class, credit, or refund may be offered at our discretion.
  • The form of compensation, if any, will be determined solely by The Explorers Club LLC.

Parties and private events

  • Deposits for birthday parties and private events are non-refundable.
  • Final balances and payment deadlines will be communicated at booking.
  • Failure to pay remaining balances by the stated deadline may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.

5. Illness, Contagious Symptoms, and Attendance

For the health and well-being of all participants, children should not attend if they are unwell.

Children should not attend if they:

  • Have a fever of 100°F / 38°C or higher within the past 24 hours and are not fever-free without medication
  • Have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
  • Have symptoms of a contagious illness, including persistent cough, sore throat, eye discharge, unexplained rash, or flu-like symptoms
  • Have been diagnosed with a contagious condition and have not yet been cleared to return

If a child becomes unwell during a session, The Explorers Club LLC may separate the child from activities, contact a parent or guardian for early pickup, and require prompt pickup. No refunds or credits are provided for early pickup due to illness.

If notified of a potential contagious exposure, families may be informed in a general, non-identifying manner.

6. Supervision, Safety, and Program Environment

  • Children are supervised during scheduled class or event times only.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for timely arrival and pickup unless otherwise stated.
  • Activities may include crafts, sensory play, movement, tools, paint, glue, and other materials.
  • Our STEM and craft programs involve hands-on group activities that carry inherent risks, including spills, messes, minor injuries, and accidental contact. Parents acknowledge and accept these risks.

Disclosure responsibility

  • Parents or legal guardians are solely responsible for informing The Explorers Club LLC, in writing and prior to participation, of any allergies, medical conditions, dietary restrictions, sensory sensitivities, or special needs that may affect their child's ability to safely participate.
  • Failure to disclose relevant information may increase health and safety risks. The Explorers Club LLC is not responsible for incidents resulting from incomplete or undisclosed information.

Allergen exposure and inherent risk

  • Programs may involve food, craft materials, sensory items, shared tools, and communal spaces. While reasonable care is taken, allergen-free environments cannot be guaranteed.

In the event of a medical emergency, staff will contact emergency services (911) and notify the parent or guardian as soon as reasonably possible. The Explorers Club LLC is not responsible for delays in treatment.

Participation decisions

The Explorers Club LLC reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation if medical needs cannot be safely supported.

Participation in programs, classes, and events offered by The Explorers Club LLC is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own risk.

Parents and guardians acknowledge that participation may involve hands-on activities, movement, shared materials, tools, sensory items, and group environments, which carry inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, minor injuries, accidental contact, allergic reactions, property damage, or illness.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Explorers Club LLC is not liable for injury, illness, accidents, loss of personal property, or other damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
